Workshop BASIC
Fundamentals Workshop (conversational NC programming, 3-axis machining)
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: basic CNC knowledge, tooling fundamentals, ability to read technical drawings
Course scope:
  • Core basics: operating modes, tool table, file management, data transfer
  • Contour definition in Cartesian and polar coordinates
  • Cycles for drilling patterns, pockets, bosses, and keyways
  • Program repeats and subprograms
  • Coordinate transformation cycles, pattern definitions
  • Preset table

Workshop ADVANCED
Advanced Workshop (conversational NC programming)
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: iTNC/TNC operation and programming skills equivalent to the Basic course
Course scope:
  • Advanced drilling techniques
  • M functions, Cycle 32 Tolerance
  • FK programming for free-form contours
  • SL cycles and DXF Converter
  • Fixed cycles
  • Geometric features
  • Helix and thread milling with Q parameters
  • Contour with Q parameters, Cycle 25 Contour Line
  • Preset table
  • Programming Station: installation and customization

Workshop PROBING
Specialized Workshop (touch probe cycles)
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: iTNC/TNC operation and programming skills equivalent to the Basic course
Course scope:
  • Core basics: parameter setup, centering, probe activation
  • Manual workpiece probe cycles: calibration and measurement
  • Measurement protocols
  • Preset table
  • Automatic workpiece probe cycles: setup and part measurement
  • Automatic plane measurement
  • Special cycles
  • User-definable tables
  • Parametric functions FN 18, FN 25, FN 26, FN 27, FN 28

Workshop TILTING
Specialized Workshop (tilted-plane machining)
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: iTNC/TNC operation and programming skills equivalent to the Basic course
Course scope:
  • Fundamentals of machining-plane tilting
  • Axial and spatial angles: definitions and rules
  • Graphic simulation: functions and practical tips
  • Machining-plane tilting in manual modes
  • Safe positioning in 5-axis machining
  • Machining-plane tilting in the program: Cycle 19 and PLANE functions
  • NC program structure for tilted-plane machining
  • M functions for tilted-plane machining
  • Preset table

 

Certified Heidenhain Training

AMS International Sp. z o.o. is an authorized partner of DR. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN GmbH, licensed to deliver certified courses.
We offer a wide range of NC programming training programs for HEIDENHAIN controls.
